Teresa has been an Angel for our family. In 2010 my wife RoseAnn moved to Portland from Orcas Island and her family to be close to OHSU and their transplant team. RoseAnn was suffering from a liver disease and a myriad of other diagnosis for 7 years and decided to try for a liver transplant. After two weeks she had to go to the emergency room and 3 months of constant trips to the hospital, doctor visits, procedures and tests. It became clear that RoseAnn had to be placed in a 24-hour care facility. That is where Teresa came in. Teresa was so professional, caring, knowledgeable and firm when needed. I had to continue to live on Orcas with my 11-year-old daughter and work my job. It was essential to have a medical advocate and no one could of done a better job of all the scheduling and arrangements than Teresa. She was also superb at supporting and keeping me informed at all times. One gift I greatly appreciate in Teresa was her ability to discuss difficult issues with RoseAnn. Teresa was able to connect and be heard by a very willful and complicated patient in RoseAnn. Teresa did this with Love and Compassion.
